UPDATED Fridley Crime Alert: Burglary near Flanery Park

Police say burglars hit a home on Brigadoon Place Wednesday.

Updated below. Burglars struck a residence in the 7600 block of Brigadoon Place NE near Flanery Park on Wednesday, according to a crime alert from the Fridley Police Department.

The burglary took place sometime during a 90-minute period when no one was home, police said.

They have not arrested anyone yet but are asking for information from the public that could help them solve the crime and catch whoever broke in.

There are some similarities between those burglaries as well as at least one in New Brighton. I cannot go into much detail at this time as all of those cases are currently under investigation, but we have not ruled out that they are in some way connected. Our Detectives have been in contact with New Brighton Police Detectives as they look into each incident.
