Fight over Milk: Fridley Police Blotter

May 17, 2012:

  • An officer took a report about an argument over milk in the 6100 block of Woody Lane NE.
  • An officer made a report about a non-injury crash at the Minneapolis Fire Training Center, 25, 37th Ave. NE, Fridley, in which a squad car collided with a fire hydrant int a parking lot in the area.

  • Officers arrested a male on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 5800 block of Second Street NE for threatening to assault a female and doing so with offensive and obscene words in front of small children at a school bus stop.
  • An apparent attempted burglary in the 5600 block of Fourth Street NE turned out to be a neighbor who forgot her keys and tried to break into the wrong apartment window.
  • A driver who struck a pedestrian at 53rd and University avenues NE was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and booked into Anoka County Jail. 

May 19, 2012:

  • A lunch cooler bag containing an empty plastic container, empty plastic baggie and blue plastic knife was located on the ground near the northwest corner of Hayes Elementary located at 615 Mississippi St NE. Item placed into property.

May 21 2011:

  • A resident in the 8300 block of East River Road reported that someone left a lit cigarette in his mailbox.
  • Anoka County Child Protection reported on allegations that a person in the 5800 block of Second Street NE uses meth while caring for two small children.
