Drunk Dialer Just Called to Congratulate Police: Fridley Police Blotter

The caller was full of praise—and booze.

A male who sounded drunk called on March 18 to say he wanted to talk to police. When an officer went to check on his welfare, the male told the officer he was proud of police for making a drug bust the day before. Though intoxicated, the male didn't appear to be a danger to himself. The officer advised him to go to bed.

Here are more items selected from information provided by the Fridley Police Department.
