Authorities Ask for Help Finding Hit-and-run Suspect
Coon Rapids boy, 9, is in critical condition.
The incident took place about three to four miles north of Fridley, according to KSTP.
Here is a statement from the Anoka County Sheriff's Office page on Facebook:
*INFO REQUESTED ON HIT & RUN* On 6-13 at 7PM a 9 year old boy was struck at 111th and Kumquat St in Coon Rapids. The driver did not stop. The vehicle was a black Chevy pickup extended cab 2 door with "Z" and a number written on it. It will have drivers side damage and a dangling mirror. The driver was a white male late 20's early 30's, Short Blonde hair with a "scruffy" unshaven face. Anyone with info should call the Sheriff's Office (763)427-1212
