Another Burglary: Fridley Police Issue New Alert

The latest break-in was in the 300 block of Mississippi Street.

Fridley police issued the second crime alert in two days after another residential burglary on Tuesday, this time in the Rice Creek Terrace neighborhood.

The break-in happened in the 300 block of Mississippi Street NE, sometime between 1 and 2:50 p.m. A secured breezeway service door may have been the point of entry, according to the alert. The burglar or burglars made off with a laptop computer as well as DVD and Blu-Ray players.

On Tuesday police issued a crime alert after a on Monday. There have been of residences in Fridley and neighboring cities in recent weeks.

In recent weeks the City of Fridley has experienced an increase in reported burglaries. The Fridley Police Department is asking for residents to remain vigilant and immediately report anything suspicious by dialing 9-1-1 and speaking to a police dispatcher.

No arrests have been made. Fridley Detectives and Patrol Officers are working diligently to solve this crime and apprehend the individual(s) responsible.
