After Fridley High Graduation, Fist Fight Leads to Bloody Nose and Two Arrests

Two adult women were charged after a post-graduation fist fight in the parking lot of Fridley High School.

Two women were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Thursday evening after engaging in a fist fight in the parking lot after the graduation ceremony.

Cassandra Trudeau, 20, of Blaine and Alexandra Watson, 19, of Coon Rapids were arguing about a phone conversation with a boy named “L.J.” when Watson punched Trudeau in the face, according to the police report.

Trudeau attended the graduation ceremony with her boyfriend, the older brother of a Fridley High graduate.

Trudeau later told police that she was on probation and was not supposed to get in trouble, but since Watson swung at her, she had to retaliate.

Fridley police arrested Watson and Trudeau, whose nose was bleeding, charging them with disorderly conduct and booking them into the Anoka County Jail.
