A Year in Workhouse for Tyree Erik Jones

Fridley man, 18, pled guilty to prostituting Iowa runaway, 17, with Asperger's Syndrome.

An 18-year-old Fridley man will serve a year in the Ramsey County workhouse, a judge ordered Thursday, after he pled guilty to who had run away from Des Moines, Iowa.

That's according to a St. Paul Pioneer Press report, which said Judge Rosanne Nathanson gave Tyree Erik Jones a suspended prison sentence of 41 months that he could have to serve if he fails to keep up the terms of a 15-year probation.

"He was a very talented young man who got caught up with the wrong girl," the Pioneer Press quoted Jones' attorney, Leah Morgan, as saying—in reference to Bionca Mixon, 23, who Morgan said was the "mastermind" behind the crime. (Mixon's sentencing, after her own guilty plea, is set for July 20, the newspaper said.)
