Oddie proudly served in the US Navy and was the owner and operator of Reliable Auto Body in North Minneapolis for over 35 years.  He was an honest, helpful and caring person and will mostly be remembered for his infectious smile and his great sense of humor.  Oddie could tell a story or a joke better than anyone.  He was a great craftsman, who designed and built his home Fridley, where he lived for over 20 years.  He had a very innovative mind and developed and made things that made tasks easier to do.  His main interests were reading, billiards and cards.  Oddie was an excellent pool player and loved to play gin with his buddies.  He enjoyed his family and always looked forward to another little grandchild.  He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to the staff of University Davita, for their kind care during Oddie’s illness.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
