Opening Reception for First Show Exhibition

As is the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts tradition, the winners of each category in the Annual Member Exhibition are invited back to exhibit more of their work together. This creates a show that is diverse in mediums and high in quality; this year's show, with work by Paul T. Boecher, Dick Byersdorfer, Sylvia Carsen, Tom Godfrey, Susan Van Geest, and Catherine Vesley is no exception. You'll find pastels, oil paintings, photographs, watercolors, marble sculpture, charcoal drawings, and even a few chairs (not for sitting upon, though). The colors alone are enough to brighten these dark and cold winter days. Bring a friend and stop on by.  The exhibition is on view through February 1.  Gallery hours are 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Sunday.  Admission is free.
