Northeast Orchestra Concert

The Northeast Orchestra will present a concert on Sunday, February 9, at 3:00 p.m. at Church of St. William in Fridley with the theme “Winter Dreams.” The concert will feature Minnesota Orchestra flute soloist, Roma Duncan, who will play “Concertino for Flute and Orchestra by Chaminade. The orchestra, which is directed by Dr. Jeffrey Stirling, will also play Sleigh Ride and La Calinda by Delius, Witch’s Ride, Evening Prayer and Dream Pantomime from “Hansel & Gretel” by Humperdick, excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, and The Skater’s Waltzes by Waldteufel. The concert does not require tickets, contributions are welcome. Church of St. William is just north of I-94 off University Ave and 61st Ave.
