Visitors can help support the festival and Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts by purchasing a raffle ticket.  The first prize is a handmade wall quilt featuring a nature scene of Rice Creek.  Second prize is a 5 year membership to the Center, and third prize is a $50 gift certificate to the center.  Tickets are available now at Banfill-Locke and will be available at the festival.

Demos and workshops in drawing, portrait painting, printmaking, and facepainting will take place throughout the day of the festival.

Community businesses and organizations will also be present, including Corrective Care Chiropractic, Friends of the Mississippi River, HealthSource Chiropractic, and the Fridley Women of Today.

Food will be provided by Little G's Pizzeria, Grandpa’s Ice Cream, and the Fridley Lion’s Club. Grandpa’s Ice Cream, a Fridley favorite, will be creating a special Art at Rice Creek flavor that will be available at the festival.

Parking is available in the Manomin Park lot and in the surrounding neighborhood; Fridley Community Officers will be on hand to help you find a convenient spot.

Support for this festival comes from Anoka County, the City of Fridley, and by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
