Winter Storm Watch: 'Dangerously Cold Wind Chill'

Wind chill values as low as 20–35 degrees below zero for an area of Minnesota including Fridley.

Watch out for a cold wind on Tuesday in Fridley. The National Weather Service warned of "dangerously cold wind chill values" Tuesday morning in a Winter Storm Watch.

Counties west of Anoka County were under a Wind Chill Advisory Tuesday morning.

Here is some of what the National Weather Service had to say about its Winter Storm Watch for Anoka and other Minnesota counties:

DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILL VALUES PERSIST THIS MORNING AS A WINTER STORM APPROACHES FOR LATE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

WIND CHILL VALUES OF 20 BELOW TO 35 BELOW ZERO WILL PERSIST THIS MORNING AS BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH COMBINE WITH TEMPERATURES BETWEEN ZERO AND 10 BELOW.
