He came from Switzerland and dove into activities at Fridley High.

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Lettering in drama and participating in choir, band, Show Pops, jazz band and Snowboard Club.
Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: With Lions Club support, Naef was able to purchase a Fridley High School letter jacket with patches for drama and for AFS, the exchange program through which he is visiting the United States for a year from his home country of Switzerland. "A year without snowboarding is not a good year," said Naef—and the current snowy Minnesota winter hasn't disappointed him.
