Totino-Grace Competes at State Cross Country Meet

The Eagles' girls team and two boys ran at Northfield.

The Totino-Grace girls cross country team took 16th overall at the Class AA state meet on Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

The Knights finished 16th with 362 total points. Monticello won the state championship with 93 total points, while Lakeville South took second at 118 points and Wayzata took third at 140 points.

Junior Taylor McDonald finished 43rd for the girls squad, which topped all Eagles performers. She finished the 4-kilometer race in 15:34.3.

In the boys Class AA state championship race, two Totino-Grace runners competed. Joe Louiselle finished the 5-kilometer race in 107th place with a 17:12.9 time. Teammate Mike Greenstein finished 117th at 17:22.8.
