Slippery Sleet Sliding into Fridley Area Sunday

Wintry precipitation will leave ice and snow, the National Weather Service warned in a Winter Weather Advisory issued Sunday morning.

A tenth of an inch of ice isn't much, but it's enough to slip on.

Ice is one element of a Winter Weather Advisory for Fridley and other parts of central Minnesota Sunday.

It may also snow. And rain.

MAIN IMPACT ... UP TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATIONS... FOLLOWED BY 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
