Sikh Society of MN to Hold Candlelight Vigil Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Sikh Society of Minnesota, which , is set to hold in honor of the victims of the shooting last Sunday at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, WI.

"The problem is painting everybody with the same brush," , told Fridley Patch the day after the shooting that left seven people dead, including the gunman, in an incident authorities were calling “a domestic terrorist-type incident."

Singh’s brother-in-law and his family were preparing for later services at the temple at the time of the shooting, he said.

The Sikh Society of Minnesota still plans in Fridley.

The candlelight vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Gurdwara Sahib ("House of God"), 9000 W. Bloomington Fwy., Bloomington.
