MORE PHOTOS: 'Christmas in the 1970s' Exhibit

The Fridley History Center's new show has proved a hit, with more than 300 visitors so far.

Christmas in the 1970s is a new exhibit at the Fridley History Center, 611 Mississippi St. NE, Fridley, that will is open every Saturday through Dec. 15, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. It will also be open on Tuesday afternoons from 2–4 p.m. through Dec. 18. This is a free event—no admission charge.

If you visit the exhibit on Tuesdays through Dec. 18, you will be served Russian tea and cookies. There are many articles from the '70s in the exhibit including a video of Bing Crosby and David Bowie performing a duet.

Hope you can treat yourself and your family to this marvelous Christmas exhibit; it may bring back some great memories, or, for younger members, maybe a glimpse into the Christmas experience of your parents before you were born.
