Memorial Day Weather: Warmer, Windy, Wet

Memorial Day predictions hold a promise for warmer weather for Fridley, along with partial sunshine, windy conditions and the possibility of storms.

One early-morning storm was headed in Fridley's direction from the west at 5:15 a.m. A severe thunderstorm watch area for the start of the day that could include hail lies to the north and east of Fridley and extends through 9 a.m.

Otherwise, the National Weather Service predicts a high of 85 for Monday, with winds increasing throughout the day, possibly reaching 31 miles per hour, and a chance of precipitation at 60 percent.
