WORLD LANGUAGE STORYTIME: SOMALI
Where/When: East Lake Library (2727 E. Lake St., Minneapolis) on Thursday, March 24 at 6 p.m.
Why Go: Expose your children (ages 2–8) to another language other than English.
Price: Free
Where/When: Murzyn Hall (520 Mill St. NE, Columbia Heights) on Thursday, March 24 from 4:30–8 p.m.
Why Go: Support the local hunger fundraiser and enjoy a hot dinner that you don’t have to make.
Price: Free-will donation
Where/When: Columbia Heights Public Library (820 40th Ave. NE) on Thursdays from 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy a pseudo-theater experience featuring a film based on one of the several popular youth novels that are out today.
Price: Free
Where/When: on Friday, March 25 from 4:30–7 p.m.
Why Go: Get your Friday fish fix and help raise funds for basic school supplies for students in need.
Price: Adults $10, Children (12 and under) $5
Where/When: on Saturdays at 10 a.m.
Why Go: Take a 45-minute glimpse into the local food chain process.
Price: Free
