Get Out! Plan Your Weekend in and around Fridley

Fridley's weekend entertainment guide to community theater, treasures, rockets and bulls.

Today’s date should be telling us that spring has arrived, but it most certainly hasn't. At least Mother Nature can’t take away the weekend. Fridley Patch is here to help embrace all the festivities the community has to offer.



When: Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Where: Spring Lake Park High School, 1100 81st Ave. NE, Spring Lake Park
Why Go: Never pass up on an opportunity to fraternize with munchkins.
Price: $10 adults, $8 senior citizens, $5 students; call (763) 795-5929 for tickets



When: Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
Where: Columbia Heights High School, 1400 49th Ave. NE, Columbia Heights
Why Go: This classic fairy tale will leave you yearning for dishes that could serenade your house guests.
Price: $12 adults, $8 seniors and students; call ahead for tickets



When: Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Help support the Fridley Early Childhood Family Education 8th annual fundraiser.
Price: You never know what treasures could be revealed.


Rocket Club
When: Saturday, April 30 at 9 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Pickle Park has gone country for the weekend. Enjoy live music and free bull riding.



When: Sunday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to noon
Where:
Why Go: Enjoy an all you can eat breakfast while helping raise funds for Fridley’s ‘49er Days.
Price: $6 per person; kids younger than 5 years old are free
