Fridley under Excessive Heat Warning through Wednesday Morning

Drink plenty of fluids and stay in AC if possible.

Fridley is included in a heat advisory from the National Weather Service through Wednesday at 7 a.m.

The Excessive Heat Warning means high temperatures and humidity are combining to create dangerous conditions for heat-related illness.

Anoka County police and fire radios crackled Monday with calls related to the heat wave, including children and pets reported in parked vehicles.
