UPDATED: Brockovich to Host Fridley Town Hall Cancer Meeting in May: Reports

Now Brockovich plans to hear Fridley residents' concerns about local cancer rates at a town-hall style meeting that will likely be held in May, according to reports aired on KSTP-TV and published at the Star Tribune website Tuesday night.

A Minnesota Department of Health investigation found that that would be expected over the last decade. Earlier Tuesday a department investigator said he would as well. 

Update (12:15 p.m. Wednesday): The St. Paul Pioneer Press posted an online report Wednesday morning, with an emphasis on questions about the validity of the concept of cancer clusters and other explanations beyond environmental factors for a higher incidence of cancer.
