Dance, Democratic Delegate, 'Diaper Duty,' Death: Fridley Patch 2012 Top 20

From celebratory to somber in our countdown of the most-viewed posts this year.

Malicious punishment of a child and cruelty to a small pet animal were behind two posts among the top 20 at Fridley Patch in 2012.

The other two in the top 15–18 were on happier subjects. A local woman was said to be the first Somali-American delegate at a Democratic National Convention, and a strong reponse to a Readers' Choice poll on best dance studio demonstrated the vibrancy of the local dance scene.

These four posts are re-posted as part of our countdown of the Top 20 posts 2012:

  • No. 15:
  • No. 16: Medical Examiner: Holly Boyd Is Dead
  • No. 17: MN Delegation at DNC includes Hinda Ali of Columbia Heights
  • No. 18: VOTE: Best Dance Studio in the Fridley Area

These two posts appeared earlier under Strange Tales from World of Politics Proved Popular This Election Year:

  • No. 19: Rep. Keith Ellison's Name-Calling Gets Vulgar in Angry Debate
  • No. 20: A Hillary-minder? 'It Takes a Village' Quilt Ticks off Voter
