Breaking: 'Rotten Egg Smell,' Possible Gas Leak on Old Central Avenue
Fridley Fire Department is responding, staging on Old Central Avenue outside the Murphy warehouse.
The Fridley Fire Department responded at about 8:30 Friday morning to a possible gas leak on Old Central avenue.
Fire personnel on Anoka County Emergency Dispatch radio reported a "rotten egg smell" in the area.
Reports indicated it was near the corner of 73rd Avenue, or possibly near the Murphy Warehouse at 7033 Central Ave. NE.

Centerpoint Energy has been advised and will be on the scene by 9:15 a.m., according to scanner reports.
