Pre-leasing Begins at 36 Park

A new apartment building located at 3601 Park Center Blvd. at the intersection of Highway 100 and West 36th Street in St. Louis Park will be known as 36 Park.

The building is expected to open in March 2012, but applications for leases are already being taken at at 3529 Raleigh Avenue in St. Louis Park.

The complex is self-described as “more than a place to live, it's a lifestyle. Thoughtfully designed with you in mind, 36 Park has all of the modern amenities that you could want from rooftop terrace with grilling area, Club 36 with culinary kitchen and billiards, top quality cardio and strength equipment in TRUE Fitness.”

Target Teams Up With Neiman Marcus for Holiday Sale

On Saturday, Dec. 1, St. Louis Park Target shoppers will be able to purchase high end Neiman Marcus merchandise at discounted prices for the holidays.

More than 50 products will be available at both stores and on their websites. Consumers are encouraged to hurry because the items are expected to sell out. Stores open at 8 a.m.

The limited-time-only collection was created by 24 of today's top designers. Items cost between $7.99 and $499.99, but most cost under $60.

Some of the designers involved are Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs and Carolina Herrera.

Liquor Boy Opens

A 10,000-foot warehouse-style liquor store opened on Monday, Nov. 26 in the Park Place Shops of St. Louis Park. 

John Wolf, who also owns Chicago Lake Liquors in Minneapolis, said Liquor Boy will be just like its sister store— but on a larger scale.

The store is located at 5620 Park Place Boulevard, next to OfficeMax, near Costco and the Shops at West End. Liquor Boy is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Recruitment Company Uses Social Media

SourceMob is a local business that helps companies expand their talent acquisitions by tapping into social and mobile media.

Businesses have turned to SourceMob to use more proactive techniques when it comes to recruiting. "We're really in the right place at the right time with this," said founder Jeffery Giesener.
