The Northeaster newspaper reported about changes at Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA) in its June 5, 2013 print edition: 

The Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA) food shelf has made some major changes in the last year, downsizing staff, changing the way i t operates, and hiring a non-profit leadership specialist. ... For the last three years, the food shelf was in financial trouble, with a $25,000 deficit.
