Medtronic CEO Won't Handicap Outcome of Healthcare Reform at U.S. Supreme Court

But Omar Ishrak said healthcare system will evolve in any case.

Not even the CEO of Fridley-based ., can predict how the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on President Obama's healthcare reform law.

Omar Ishrak appeared on CNBC but wouldn't say how he thought the high court would decide the case, according to MedCityNews and Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. But he did say the healthcare system would evolve whatever the decision:

“What is happening in the United States is that there is greater integration between providers and payers, and that is going to happen irrespective of the Supreme Court ruling and whatever else happens to the specifics of healthcare reform.”
