Financial One Credit Union Celebrated 80th Anniversary

The Financial One Credit Union, whose service territory includes Fridley,  celebrated its 80th anniversary this past week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and barbecue lunch. 
The non-profit financial institution also used the occasion to officially introduce its new president, Ross Bloomquist, to the community. See the above video to hear Bloomquist talk about what has made Financial One a success. 
Dignitaries who attended the ceremony included Fridley Mayor Scott Lund, and Columbia Heights Mayor Gary Peterson. 
The festivities took place at Financial One's Coon Rapids location at 11465 Robinson Drive.
