UPDATED (7:30 a.m.): In Fridley Area, 37 Remain without Power

Update (7:30 a.m. Saturday): Thirty-seven customers in the Fridley area are without power Saturday morning after storms raced through Friday night.

More than 100 customers in the area of Osborne Road NE in Spring Lake Park now have electricity back—later than the original estimate of 3:13 a.m. but before the revised estimate of 11 p.m. Saturday.

But smaller outages in other areas turned out to be affecting more customers  than first reported Friday night.

• South and east of Springbrook Nature Center, in Fridley and nearby in Coon Rapids along East River Road, 21 customers don't have electrical service. The estimated time for a fix remains 11 p.m. Saturday.
• North of Moore Lake, 14 customers can also plan on no power until 11 p.m. Saturday.
• Two other customers, one west of Moore Lake and the other near Main Street NE and I-694, are in the same boat.

The Fridley area now accounts for eight of Xcel Energy's logged 208 separate outages in the greater Twin Cities area, and about a hundredth of the nearly 4,000 metro customers without power Saturday morning, according to the utility's online outage map.

Update (3:15 a.m. Saturday): Xcel Energy's new estimate for when it will have power restored to 125 Fridley-area customers is now 11 p.m. Saturday.

That includes two more customers who reported being without electricity since the time of the original post below. (One is just north and the other just west of Medtronic Parkway NE in Fridley.)

Original post (12:15 a.m. Saturday): Storms late Friday knocked out power for more than 100 customers in Spring Lake Park and 10 others near and along the Fridley-Coon Rapids border.

According to the Xcel Energy online outage map, 113 customers in the area of Osborne Road NE would likely be without electricity until 3:13 a.m. Saturday.

Seven customers in Fridley just north of Moore Lake would also be without service until shortly after 3 a.m., according to Xcel's estimate.

One customers in Fridley and one in Coon Rapids along East River Road could expect power back by 2:45 a.m., the map said. Another nearby in Fridley would be without until 4:20 a.m. Saturday. Those customers were west and south of .

All lost power between 11:15 p.m. Friday and 12:05 a.m. Saturday.

In northeast Minneapolis, nearly 475 customers were without electricity early Saturday morning.

A was due to expire at 2 a.m. Fridley was under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for part of the time that the outages occurred.
