Photos: A Float's-Eye-View of the '49er Days Parade

Even at the parade's tail end, spectators lined the streets.

Here's what the looked like from the Fridley Patch float—well, a garden cart really—near the very end of the line of more than 100 entries.

The parade stretched longer than its nearly two-mile course. The first floats were done before the last entries, like Fridley Patch's, started.

Thanks to everyone who said hi, gave a hug, waved, or took a pen or piece of candy. More '49er Days fun to come!
