Thursday, the one day Fridley Patch loves telling you what to do.


When: Friday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m.
Where: Spring Lake Park High School Stadium (79th Avenue NE and Able Street NE)
Why Go: Community members of all ages are invited to join the 10th annual event that honors our military and public service heroes with music, military fly-over, patriotic activities and a giant fireworks display.
Price: Free


When: Friday, Sept. 16 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where:
Why Go: Eat some Greek and dance the night away with live funk, R&B and blues music from back in the day.
Price: $5

Doggin’ It
When: Daily
Where:
Why Go: Let your dogs take you to the newly enlarged Locke County Park Dog Park for an Autumn stroll.
Price:  Free


When: Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 9150 Central Avenue NE, Blaine
Why Go: Perhaps not a highly entertaining event but you can't deny that protecting your identity is fun ... and you can shred unlimited amounts of paper.

Why Go: Kick your boots up with live country music in city.
