Fridley Postcard: Bus Stop Bench Knocked Back by Winter (UPDATED)
If you're feeling plowed over at this point of the season, think how this bus bench feels.
Snowplow operators and other shovelers have gone to great lengths to keep many of Fridley's bus stops open for business this winter. But the special attention apparently left this bus stop bench on East River Road at 61st Way NE (next to the Northstar Commuter Rail station) flat on its back.
UPDATE: In a post about this problem at the Fridley Patch Facebook page, Dan Craig (who works for Metro Transit, it seems) said he would try to get it "squared away." And as of March 15, it looks like he did. Thanks, Dan.
