Attendance at Brockovich's Fridley Town Hall Meeting to be Capped at 450

A date, time and location have been set for Erin Brockovich's visit to Fridley to discuss issues around the city's cancer rates.

McCarty said that while the community center has a capacity of 500, attendance will likely be capped at 450 to accommodate members of the media.

During her visit, Brockovich will tour the city’s Superfund sites before holding a two-hour evening town hall meeting to hear residents’ concerns about Fridley’s cancer cases and present her interpretation of historical and anecdotal data collected in the last couple months from citizens and regulatory agencies, said Bob Bowcock, Brockovich’s environmental investigator, who will be accompanying her on the visit.
