Are you a Veteran who would like to serve other Vets at End of Life?

We Honor Vets: Veterans needed to volunteer to serve fellow Veterans at the end of life?

As a part of the “We Honor Veterans” Initiative to ensure that excellent end-of-life care is available to Honor our nation’s veterans and their families. Allina Health Hospice and Palliative Care is embracing these initiatives.

·        Raising awareness about veterans’ end-of-life care needs and options (education)

·        Strengthening relationships between community hospices and VA facilities (relationships)

·         Improving veterans’ access to hospice and palliative care at all sites and levels of care

As part of this commitment http://www.wehonorveterans.org/ we are searching out Veterans willing to be volunteers for Veterans and their families in their homes or in nursing facilities in you neighborhoods.  All Veterans, please consider.
