Fridley City Band will take the stage as part of the Silverwood Summer Concert Series Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony.
Pack a picnic, blanket, lawn chairs, friends and family for a evening of outdoor music. In case of rain, concerts will be held inside the Visitor Center. This concert is free and open to all ages.
The Fridley City Band has been making music for 51 years, playing about 15 concerts each year. The band’s music selection consists of classic band music, musicals, marches, medleys, and works by contemporary composers.
