This event kicks off the 49er Days Festival, which will run through Saturday, June 25th. The parade route starts from the Fridley High School/Middle School area, following 61st Avenue west to Seventh Street, moving north to Mississippi Street, east to Able Street and back to FHS.

Is it possible to have it all? Commons Park comes close: tennis courts, ball diamonds, football/soccer fields, ice for skating and hockey, a picnic shelter and a playground. And best of all, in winter: a sledding hill.
