Want To Minimize Senior Moments? Here's Training For The Brain
Roseville Area Senior Program and Comfort Keepers Fridley Seniors program are offering sessions to foster mental fitness. Registration deadline for first month is Feb. 1.
Editor's note: The following announcement was submitted by the Roseville Area Senior Program:
Are you passionate about keeping yourself mentally fit and socially active?
It's been proven that social interaction and brain exercise can create new dendrites in the brain and keep your mind sharp. Join us and you will have fun doing both!
The first session of the month will be education, and the second session will play with what has been learned. The instructor is Kelly Lindell, owner of Comfort Keepers.
Roseville sessions will be held the first and third Wednesdays of the month starting Feb.6 at Heritage Place of Roseville, 563 City. Rd B West, Roseville.
Fridley sessions will be on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month starting Feb.13 at the Fridley Senior Program, 6085 7th St NE., Fridley.
The time for both sites will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $25 for the year or $3 per month – you save $5 dollars if you register for the year.
