Winter Storm Orko Is Coming to Get You, Fridley

Sounds worse when it has a scary name, doesn't it? The National Weather Service issued a new Hazardous Weather Outlook Saturday morning.

 

Winter is whipping up a cocktail of "snow, sleet and/or freezing rain," according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook that the National Weather Service issued Saturday morning for Fridley, Anoka County and a wedge of other central Minnesota counties.

Happy hour for precipitation-lovers will begin as early as late Saturday night.

Fridley and much of Minnesota remains under a Winter Storm Watch, promising four to eight inches of snow by Monday morning.
