VOTE: Fridley Area's Best Veterinarian

When your four-legged friends get ill, where do you turn in the Fridley area for the best help? Vote to help decide Patch's Readers' Choice.

Our pets, the old saying goes, are like members of the family.

With one exception: When a dog or cat gets sick, they can't tell you what's wrong. That's why the family veterinarian has become such an important figure in many peoples' lives, offering invaluable advice to keep our four-legged friends happy as long as possible, and when that's no longer possible, at least providing a comfortable departure from this world.

When your best-friend-with-fur gets sick, to whom do you turn? Is there one particular vet in the Fridley area who has brought joy and comfort to you and your loved ones, including those of the furry persuasion?

The vets in the poll above came from readers' nominations earlier in the summer. Now you decide who will receive Patch's Readers' Choice award:

Voting runs through Aug. 17.

  • Which is Fridley's best veterinarian?

I added Brighton Veterinary Hospital to the poll. After several interactions with them this week, I felt they belonged in the mix although unlike the other two they are near but not in Fridley (they're in New Brighton).
