Last week residents of Fridley and Coon Rapids gathered at the Fridley Community Center for an open house on the future of East River Road. Anoka County, along with the cities of Fridley and Coon Rapids, is preparing a plan for the East River Road corridor through 2030, when anticipated development to the north could bring a significant increase in traffic along the river.
