VIDEO: MN House Honors Rep. Kate Knuth with Orange Attire
The rep for SE Fridley is leaving the Legislature.
Knuth opted not to seek re-election after redistricting put her in the same new district as another incumbent, Rep. Tom Tillberry (DFL-51B).
(Tillberry then lost a DFL endorsement contest with former state representative Connie Bernardy. News reports had Tillberry holding out the possiblity of remaining in the race but in a letter this week to Gov. Mark Dayton he called himself a "retiring legislator.")
