Video: How Able Street Got Its Name

Grace Norton recalls how her mother came up with the idea.

Grace Norton recalls when her family lived along Mississippi Street in the 1940s and what is now Able Street was their driveway. In this short video, she tells the story of how Able Street got its name.

The black-and-white photo in the video shows Grace Norton (standing) and her sister, Gwen Nawrocki, in their yard in 1942. Their last name then was Clark; their parents were Warren and Betty.
