An apartment building in the 9400 block of Polk Street NE in Blaine was showing flames when the call went out for help Friday night.
Fire fighters were dispatched at about 8:45 p.m. (the time of our tweet on the Fridley Patch twitter feed).
On the Fridley Patch Facebook page, one commenter recognized the apartment unit as one where the commenter used to live.
