Two from Fridley Finish Chequamegon Fat Tire 40-mile Mountain Bike Race
Edward Dittberner and Saul LaCoursiere rode 40 miles across Wisconsin.
They say it's the Boston Marathon of mountain biking in the Midwest, and like last year, two bicyclists from Fridley finished the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival in Wisconsin over the weekend.
Edward Dittberner and Saul LaCoursiere completed the 40-mile route from from Hayward to Cable in times that were within five minutes of each other.
Dittberner, 33, had a time of 3:39:16.2. (Last year his time was 3:34:08.2.) LaCoursiere, 30, finished in 3:43:42.7.
