There's More Moore Lake Than Usual
The lake's level has risen with recent rains.
Heavy rainfall lately means the Moore Lake has been quite a bit bigger than its usual self. In this photo, the sign pole is partly submerged; usually it's out of the water.
The first arrivals when Moore Lake Beach opened at noon on Friday were these colorful chairs. Their owners had yet to settle in. Busiest time at the beach is around 3 p.m.
