Which Vacant Fridley Sites Would You Like to See Occupied?

Where do you have 'Visions for Vacancies'?

Like other cities, Fridley has commercial properties that are currently vacant. Which business sites in Fridley would you most like to see re-occupied or redeveloped?

"Visions for Vacancies (or Vacancy)" is a popular feature at other Patches such as Maple Grove Patch and Inver Grove Heights Patch. If we start "Visions for Vacancy" at Fridley Patch, which local buildings or commercial properties would you like to see featured first?

Please leave your suggestion in the comments below—or upload a photo if you've got one.

Julie, I like the ideas and the "=". I wish we could make stuff happen with an equals sign. Do you think Costco would come?

I have no idea where, but I would love to have (and run) a parent advocacy program somewhere...it would encompass all things parenting such as custody issues/classes for parents divorcing, school choices, post-secondary options, etc., etc., etc.

Stacy, that is truly visionary. Not to steer you away from a vacant site but could the Fridley Community Center accommodate those things? I'm guessing you have something different in mind ...

Brilliant. There is a plan to make it a senior living center, so we know it can be made to handle human habitation.
