Updated: South Fridley Garage Fire Draws Multiple Engines
TCFireWire is reporting that the fire may have extended to a second home.
TCFireWire is reporting that there are firefighters from four departments at the scene of the Danube Road home fire.
The fire started Sunday evening in an attached garage, and a Columbia Heights fire chief arriving on the scene reported that the fire was threatening an adjacent home.
Most of the fire was contained within about 40 minutes, TCFireWire reported, but firefighters continued spraying the flames in order to enter the building.
Mutual aid was requested from New Brighton, and a Coon Rapids engine covered Fridley stations.
