Sen. Pam Wolf Plans to Vote 'No' on Vikings Stadium Bill

Other bills she's watching: teacher seniority rules, joint physical custody, racino.

State Sen. Pam Wolf (R-51) said Wednesday she plans to vote against the current Minnesota Vikings stadium bill.

"I plan to vote "no" on the Vikings bill, in it's current form, moving through committees," Wolf said by email. "I support Senator Chamberlin's Vikings bill (SF2127)" (link added).

She highlighted several other bills as well:

Other bills of importance to me/my constituents are HF1870 (ending seniority based lay-offs) and HF377 (presumption of joint physical custody). I would also like to see the Racino bill come to the floor, not attached to the Vikings stadium bill. (links added)

As of Wednesday, racino gambling is attached to the Vikings stadium bill—a surprise development during the bill's daylong hearing before the Senate Finance Committee. (Fridley's other state senator, Barb Goodwin (DFL-50), abstained on the final vote on the bill.)

4/30/12 Stadium bill

The Vikings stadium bill, text link below, is illegal and violates at least 6 provisions of the Minnesota state constitution, 7 if you include the legislator’s oath.

The violations of the Minnesota Constitution are Article 4 sections 8, 17, and 21 along with Article 11 Sections 2, 4, 5, and 7. There is no justifiable reason to crush the freedoms of Minnesota citizens with this type of legislation, we have a constitution to protect the people, and employed legislators to comply with such restrictions. I do support a Vikings stadium, a legal constitutional stadium.

I can only provide the information, it is your responsibility to read, educate and take action.
