Police say suspect took vehicle when owner left it running in garage.
The Fridley Police Department issued a crime alert Friday morning after a car theft they said took place at about 6 a.m. Friday in the 7400 block of Concerto Curve NE near Madsen Park.
It happened when a resident left his motor vehicle running in his garage with the garage door open, according to the crime alert, which describes the missing car and two suspects and offers tips to prevent auto thefts.
