Poll: How Do You Like Rain in December?

Fridley would be blanketed with nice, fresh snow if it were colder.

As if the cancellation of the first week of broomball at Commons Park on Monday wasn't bad enough, it has been raining in fits and starts for about 24 hours, starting Tuesday evening.

Or is that a good thing—because it's not cold?

Posted on behalf of pro-rain Stacy Burns, who had some trouble leaving a comment: "Get rid of that December snow--there will be plenty of time to be buried anew in Jan and Feb."

You need another option--"I have mixed emotions about rain in December and I will tell you why in comments below"

That would be my choice. Why? Because as mom-taxi who takes a teen to school for jazz band at 6;30 am, I like not having to scrape snow off windows in the morning.

But I'm a Minnesotan through and through...and I like snow. The idea of not having a white Christmas in MN? Scandalous!
